The Alliance Franco Tanzanienne d'Arusha, like others, is a non-profit making organization whose mission is to promote, enhance the knowledge, and appreciate French and francophone cultures.
Furthermore, it aims at improving the knowledge of the French language and encouraging interaction among the French, Francophone and Tanzanian peoples through educational and artistic programming.
The Alliance Franco Tanzanienne of Arusha was created in 2000 and officially labelled in 2001.
To this day, we have trained more than 2,000 students in Arusha into speaking French.
In 2010, AFT has already trained 400 students and has organized more than 20 cultural events.
We organize examinations twice a year in June and December, for DELF & DALF certificates delivered by the French Ministry of Education.
The Alliance Franco Tanzanienne has three goals :
Offer courses in French, to all sections of society in Arusha and Moshi.
