Kipepeo Village

Firstly you must cross the Kivukoni/Kigamboni ferry which crosses the mouth of Dar-es-Salaam harbour. Kigamboni is a fishing village on the south side of the harbour. From there you follow the coastal road south for approx. 9km. At this point you get to a ‘Y’ in the roadwith an Oilcom Petrol Station right in front of you. If you reach this point you have actually gone about 20 metres too far. Reverse about 20 metres and you will see a sign on your left (seaward side) for Kipepeocamp.
About Us

To meet the high demand for quality accommodation at an affordable price the developers of the kipepeo beach camp embarked on a project to build 20 luxurious elevated beach huts. The task involved building the huts without upsetting the laid-back, and remote, atmosphere that made the place so popular amongst locals and foreigners alike.
All 20 bandas (swahili for hut) were built in the dense indigenous bush and elevated in order to ensure a stunning view of the sea and to take advantage of the cool ocean breezes. Each Banda has its own private bathroom, with hot and cold running water, and electricity. The bandas can be set up as twins (two singles), doubles, or family rooms.
