To perform a variety of duties in their quest to get maximum productivity out of their banking sales team.
Overall responsibility for maintaining relationships with the Division's existing customer base, including:
developing strategies for customer management monitoring and managing major customer issues developing working relationships with multi-disciplines within the customer base negotiating pricing and other commerical/contract issues
Overall responsibility for developing new business with existing customers and new customers, inlcuding:
working with outside sales force to identify and penetrate customers within the Division's defined market strategy managing the Division's quotation process by qualifying new opportunities and prospects, prioritizing quotation opportunities within the division, developing and managing the sales strategy for each opportunity, and presenting important proposals to customers and prospects managing the new business award process - including contract negotiation Regular travel to existing customers and prospects is required.
Provide sales forecast and marketing development information for division business planning and long term strategic planning activities.
Participate in every aspect of new product launches.
Support multi-divisional corporate sales objectives.
Compliance with all relevant policies.
Create Sales Pitch and Materials
All materials and pitches used by the sales team are developed by the Corporate Sales Manager, under the direction of the Director of Sales. This involves using market research to create pitches and materials that best reach the target audience.
Bachelor’s degree (Business or Marketing) or equivalent experience.
At least 5+ years in a sales or business development role
3+ years of experience within the a Assistance Services, or global benefits industry is preferable.
Effective communication; strong client service and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines; ability to work in a team setting.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Internet explorer.
Well spoken English and Swahili.
Experience with Sales Force
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly and on time even under stressful conditions.
Ability to work independently and self-motivate
