Job Purpose: Managing all segments of the Lodge, including lodging/accommodation, food and beverages management, human resources, housekeeping, gardens as well as other guest services. In close liaison with the Operations Manager S/he will be in charge of employees, procurement, customer service, marketing and promotions, quality control etc. The Lodge manager will often have to work nights and weekends depending on the season to ensure the success of the business.
Reports to: Functionally to Operations Manager and administratively to the Managing Director.
Human Resources Responsibilities
A University degree or a diploma in Hotel Management or business administration with at least a one year industry experience. The ideal candidate should have a high level of integrity, Strong customer and employee communication skills, self-motivated and be highly-organized. Computer literacy is a must.
Remuneration is negotiable and will be partly fixed and partly based on sales performance.
