An African/English family run lodge. Clean, friendly and relaxing and affordable. Hidden away in beautiful quiet secluded area of Kichangani. Kigamboni. Providing accommodation for singles, couples, families and groups and backpackers. Venue for Weddings, Parties, business meetings and seminars
Unique boat restaurant and bar with sea views serving African and International cuisine and all types of drinks all day long. Comfortable long sofas to relax and unwind on in this peaceful lodge. Children's play area where they can play safely whilst in view of the restaurant and all rooms.
Pristine, quiet, long stretch of white sandy beach fringed with trees and vegetation. Providing the lodge with a pleasant light ocean breeze.
Transfers to and from airport and city available. Day trips - boat trips for islands, fishing and snorkelling, horse riding, sightseeing, shopping trips and Safaris can be arranged from the lodge.

Extra single or double beds and cots can be arranged in most rooms at extra cost of Tsh10,000 per night for children under 16 and Tsh25,000 for 16 and over
Special long term price arrangements available on request.

An excellent venue for music, exhibitions, business meetings, weddings and parties.

We also welcome volunteers who would like to help out at local schools and will arrange your placement.

Temeke, Kigamboni Dar Es Salaam Kichangani, 35 mins from Kigamboni/Dar es Salaam Ferry (across the Kurasini Creek 10mins actual crossing) and Nyerere Bridge. Once on Kigamboni side, drive straight, pass Mjimwema, turn left at Dege Eco Village off road. Drive straight until you get to small village of Mbutu the sharp right and onto Kichangani village about a further 1.5km. Just as you leave Kichangani there is a small sandy track on your left. There should be one of our sign posts there in yellow. Go straight through football pitch and look for our signs. Alternatively, ask the boda boda drivers at Kichangani village to help you for Tsh1000. You are only a few minutes away from us but you will be off the main roads.
