Position Description:

Required for an International Hospital based in Moshi.

Requirement:

• A bachelor degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
• At least 2 years experience in a Hospital.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience in keeping records and monitoring progress of patients.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments for people with disabilities, setting out treatment plans and monitoring progress.
• Managing Week of Intensive Treatment through assessing the disability, preparing an individual rehabilitation program and completing monitoring and evaluation documents in conjunction with rehabilitation assistants.
• Supervising, training and assisting in recognizing disability aspects, referring, providing education and interventions to patients.
• Conducting outreach clinics in the community together with other disciplines with the program.
• Conducting health education sessions and sensitize other agencies, communities and interested parties regarding the program.
