The overall course objective is to enhance the capacity of communities in carrying out collective actions, advocacy and campaigns
for improving public service delivery and to enhance the capacity of citizens to effectively and confidently engage in the local government planning and budget cycle.
• Accountability in Local Public Service Delivery
• Understanding the Budget Process
• Gathering and using evidence for advocacy
By the end of the course participants will be able to analyze budget process and gather evidence for accountability process and for advocacy
Action Aid International (AAI) country programme staff and partners working at either national level or at the Local Rights Programme (LRP) level.
Others are staff from the local government and other non-governmental organizations.
