About Robanda Tented Camp:

Robanda Tented Camp is set on a prime location for an unforgettable bush experience. The position was carefully chosen to be right in the path of the wildebeest migration, ensuring spectacular game viewing during the migration. But the camp also boasts of high resident game concentration all year round, with big herds of wildebeest and zebra, elephant and giraffe. Other animal species include lion, hyena, gazelle, topi, buffalo.

This small and intimate camp with 5 budget and 5 luxury tents is also an ideal place for honeymoon couples who do not want to experience the hustle and bustle of larger camps.

Being situated outside the Serengeti National Park, night game drives and walking safaris are also highlights to a stay at the camp.

Located nearby is the Ikoma Airstrip which means you can be with us in next to no time and avoid the long drive through the park should you prefer a shorter journey.

Accommodation
Tents

The luxury tents are very spacious, with either double or twin beds and annex bathroom. The private veranda looks out over the Serengeti plains, where herds of wildebeest and zebras can be seen. The "bush style" tents are in fact mobile tents, which have been set up in a permanent way. Each tent has its own private bathroom with bush shower and toilet.

Activities

As the Camp is located just outside the national park boundary it is possible to do night drives and guided game walks. The night drives are a unique opportunity to see some of the nocturnal animals that one usually only hears about, such as Leopard, Aardvark and Bat-eared foxes. Learn and experience firsthand the sounds of the African bush at night - a very different 'creature' from the one seen during the day!

Also a game walk with a ranger is an incredibly exciting and safe way to experience the bush and its inhabitants at close range.
